 Making a gift basket can be a fun do-it-yourself project. Gift baskets make ideal gifts for most anyone. Co-workers, your boss, new mothers, children -- anyone would love a gift basket made with love and care. These baskets are not only attractive and eye-catching; they're able to be filled with a multitude of fun items. While you can find ready-made baskets, it's much more special to make one yourself. All the supplies you'll need, other than the gifts, can be purchased at your local craft store.
The first thing you'll need to do before beginning this project is think about who you're making it for. For example, a basket created for a new mom will be very different than one for a co-worker. Start by making a list of the recipient's interests and preferences. Their hobbies, their favorite color, their favorite foods -- all of these things can come into play.
